GARDEN...A WORK IN PROGRESS

Todd and Michele have been REALLY busy building
these raised Garden Beds. We had to work quickly
while the children were sleeping. Michele would draw
and fit the blocks together whild Todd worked the
saw and cut the pieces. He looked like a grey ghost
when he was done. Then we had to hall all that dirt back
there...but our friends Kylie and Billy helped with that.
Then, Michele put in a drip line that she buried 2 inches
under the dirt. Finally we put in our first plants and
yesterday a huge gust of 70 MPH winds for 7 hours
came and destroyed half of the plants. What a Joy
it is to Grow a Garden in the Desert! That is why it is
a work in progress! But We must say the blocks turned
out pretty good for a couple of amateurs!
